Fusion Meso Ceramid Moisturizer is a rich, nourishing night cream for dry, sensitive, dehydrated or barrier-impaired skin. Its water-in-oil formula helps replenish conditioning lipids, limit transepidermal water loss and support the skin’s natural protective barrier.

The cream contains vegan ceramides derived from rice bran extract. This extract is rich in sphingolipids and phospholipids, lipid-like components that contribute to the cohesion of the stratum corneum and moisture retention. Glycerine and emollient ingredients provide lasting hydration and comfort.

Its full texture is particularly suitable for night care. During the night, the cream helps dry, rough or tight-feeling skin feel softer and more supple. Very dry skin may also use it during the day, followed by a separate sunscreen.

WHAT ARE CERAMIDES?

Ceramides are lipids naturally found between the skin cells within the stratum corneum. They form an important part of the intercellular “cement” that holds the cells together.

When skin lipids are depleted, moisture can escape more easily. The complexion may then become dry, rough, flaky, tight or more sensitive. Skincare containing ceramide-supporting lipids helps replenish the protective barrier and retain moisture.

The vegan ceramides in Ceramid Moisturizer are derived from rice extract. They appear in the current INCI list as Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Vegan ceramides from rice extract

Oryza Sativa Bran Extract contains an optimised fraction of sphingolipids and phospholipids. These plant-derived lipids support the natural skin barrier and help reduce moisture loss.

Glycerine

A humectant that attracts and retains water in the upper skin layers, helping the complexion feel softer, smoother and more comfortable.

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

A conditioning emollient that nourishes and softens the skin while helping protect it against dryness.

Stearyl Heptanoate and Stearyl Caprylate

Lightweight conditioning lipids that contribute to a smooth, supple feel and support the cream’s nourishing character.

Dimethicone

Creates a breathable, smoothing protective layer that helps limit moisture loss and makes rough skin feel softer.

SUITABLE FOR

The cream contains fragrance, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool and Benzyl Salicylate. Patch test first if you have a fragrance allergy or highly reactive skin.

LESS SUITABLE FOR

• Very oily skin that congests easily.
• Skin requiring only a very lightweight gel moisturiser.
• Open wounds or acutely irritated skin that does not tolerate fragrance.

On combination skin, apply the cream only to dry areas if required. Hyaluronic Drops or Hyaluronic Moisturizer may be lighter choices for the entire face.

DIRECTIONS

Use preferably every evening.

1. Remove makeup and sunscreen.

2. Cleanse the face and neck thoroughly.

3. Apply Essential Lotion if desired.

4. Follow with a suitable serum.

5. Distribute a small amount of Ceramid Moisturizer over the face and neck.

6. Massage gently from the centre of the face outwards.

7. Spend additional time on dry, rough or tight areas.

8. Allow the cream to absorb for several minutes before going to bed.

9. Rinse or cleanse the skin gently the following morning.

If used during the day, always follow with a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen.

EVENING ROUTINE

1. Fusion Meso Deep Cleanser.

2. Essential Lotion.

3. Exosomes Serum, HA Deep Filler or another suitable serum.

4. Ceramid Moisturizer.

5. Eye Booster or Eye Sorbet around the eye contour.

MORNING ROUTINE FOR DRY SKIN

1. Cleanse gently.

2. Essential Lotion or Vitamin C Micro-Water.

3. Exosomes Serum or another suitable serum.

4. A small amount of Ceramid Moisturizer.

5. Meso Shield 50.

If Ceramid Moisturizer feels too rich during the day, choose Hyaluronic Drops or Hyaluronic Moisturizer.

CERAMID MOISTURIZER OR HYALURONIC DROPS?

Ceramid Moisturizer is a rich water-in-oil cream for dry, sensitive or lipid-deficient skin. It focuses on nourishment, protection and barrier support and is particularly suitable for evening use.

Hyaluronic Drops is an exceptionally lightweight, refreshing gel cream with XS hyaluronic acid. It is better suited to normal, combination, oily or dehydrated skin and customers who dislike rich textures.

Dry skin can use Hyaluronic Drops during the day and Ceramid Moisturizer at night.

CERAMID MOISTURIZER OR PROBIOTIX CREAM?

Ceramid Moisturizer primarily focuses on replenishing lipids and reducing moisture loss with vegan ceramides derived from rice extract.

Probiotix Cream combines a rich texture with prebiotic and probiotic ingredients and hyaluronic acid. It places additional emphasis on supporting the skin microbiome.

Choose Ceramid Moisturizer when dryness, flaking and lipid deficiency are the main concerns. Choose Probiotix Cream when dry or sensitive skin also feels unbalanced.

COMBINING WITH RETINOL AND ACIDS

Ceramid Moisturizer does not contain retinol or exfoliating acids. It can therefore be used as a final moisturising step with Retinol 1.0, Mela Drops or Glycolic B3 Foam.

Apply the retinol or acid product first and follow with Ceramid Moisturizer after it has absorbed. Do not introduce several potent active ingredients at the same time.

Reduce retinol or acid use if the skin becomes persistently red, painful, intensely flaky or uncomfortable. A moisturiser may improve comfort but cannot compensate for excessive use of active products.

AFTER A COSMETIC PROCEDURE

Ceramid Moisturizer may support dryness and a weakened barrier during a later stage of aftercare. However, the cream is not sterile and contains fragrance and fragrance allergens.

Do not automatically apply it immediately after microneedling, laser, dermabrasion or an intensive peel. Follow the practitioner’s advice and wait until the skin is sufficiently closed and calm. A fragrance-free recovery cream may be more suitable immediately after treatment.

WHAT RESULTS CAN YOU EXPECT?

After application, the skin may immediately feel softer, more supple and less tight. The rich protective layer helps retain moisture and supports comfort throughout the night.

With regular use, dry or rough skin may appear smoother and better conditioned. The cream supports the skin barrier but does not treat eczema, dermatitis, allergies or other medical skin conditions.
